In a land of over the top glamour and overdone hair trends–Los Angeles’ warm and casual weather is what drives the trends on the Oscars Red carpet. Some stylists make the mistake of thinking the Oscars is a winter ball in New York.  The red carpet in Los Angeles is usually accompanied by beautiful weather so a theme of perennial summer is one of the best things about theses red carpet looks. Formal themes, yet casual in execution makes the hair styles on the carpet this season work.  Complicated up-dos and difficult looks just don’t work as beautifully as these soft, yet controlled looks that keep things simple.
