What if you had a private stylist to come to your house and review your closet to help prepare for the holiday seas0n?  Would your closet measure up? Even if you don’t have a private stylist (like most celebrities do) don’t worry, we’ve got the 8 steps you need to prepare for the holidays.  For doubters out there, we have cleaned a number of celebrity closets over the years and the rich and famous are no different from you or me:  they have things they can’t part with, things they can’t fit into and even those things they bought on a whim, that literally shouldn’t leave the house. Woe to the celebrity who leaves their house without a closet review!

  So, Take heart and use our steps to clean and organize your closet like a pro!

• Step 1- Start by Sorting out clothes you know will not fit and that may not even like anymore. Set those aside.  These things will go to charity. 
• Step 2-Separate the Seasons in your closet. Put the Current Seasonal clothes together in the front of the closet with past seasons in the back.  
• Step 3-Review the Current seasonal pieces to see if they are still on trend: Are they classics, Trendsetters, or just plain boring? 
• Step 4-Separate all the skirts, blouses, jackets, and other pices into groups in your closet so you can easily mix and match the separates. 
• Step 4-Review your Lingerie, Hose or Foundations: Are you prepared for a daily work-out, hot date, workday outfit or holiday event?
• Step 5-Shoe Review: Dump out worn, torn and otherwise past due shoes that don’t update or improve your seasonal pieces.
• Step 7-Color Trends: Separate your current seasonal pieces into color groups: any trending colors missing? Some to remove? Update or Give Away?
• Step 8-Accessories Review: Bags, belts, scarves, jewelry and more! What works, what should go, and what are the classics to keep forever. 

Now that your closet is cleaned out, and there is a huge pile on your floor, bag it up and choose a charity for your donations ! If you can give your used wardrobe away to help others, its perfect for the season of giving and also your taxes for 2016!
