What started as a red carpet craze has become a standard for a summer hairstyle that can be locked in and good for days. The style was inspired by wet hair that dries after a swim or beach visit with your own natural curl in your hair giving it shape and movement. Even if you have straight hair you can twist it damp and pin it up while you are at the pool or beach and then let it dry. Then, after a few hours just  shake your head and let it go naturally. Stylists suggest you divide the damp hair int two parts and spin it up into the “Star Wars” style double bun (Carrie Fisher, an early trend  setter!) and then lightly comb it out with your fingers.  A light hairspray sets the waves and you are ready!  Voila,  Boho Beach Waves!
