Holiday Style that Gives Back: Here is our Short List

Everyone is busy giving Holiday fashion advice, myself included, but for this year I would rather share about style and gifting that benefits the community through charitable giving.  I have looked at alot of things and made a list of favorites that are both fashionable, charitable and great for giving, too.

Holidays are all about Jewelry, and I love  wonderful designs that are modern and wearable by Kendra Scott to wear over that black turtleneck at the office, or for a holiday blouse or just jeans. She has a necklace/earring set that gives back to charity. (www.kendrascott.com)

Handbags by Lauren Bush Lauren, started with just a burlap sack and now are a fashionable tote made of a unique leather and stamped with the word FEED. To date she has given back over 84 million meals and with the help of her friends and some celebrity pals, she unveiled her holiday campaign that will “through collective action make a massive difference in people’s lives.” (www.feedprojects.com)

I came across Same Sky jewelry through friends where I also tasted ONE HOPE WINES for the first time.  This handmade jewelry is both fun, fashionable, and also supports an economic ec0-system to women of both Rwanda and The U. S.  Providing job opportunities and empowerment as well as a unique design that everyone can wear.  (www.samesky.com). Each piece provides a host of charitable services to those in need.

For chocolate lovers,  there is a candy bar that provides meals with Foodbank Partners, Jcoco work with both Marin, CA area and New York area food bank partners to support their efforts.  Get these beautifully designed bars at (www.mouth.com)

VIAONE HOPE: wine gifts that support a number of charities is what we love, so much so, that we support this company ourselves.  Every bottle supports a causes – http://www.viaonehope.com/pikke
