While no wardrobe mistress would doubt the importance of the EMMY red carpet, this mistress is truly convinced that there is a fashion war going on. There are those who wish to be fierce and warrior princesses while others perceive the EMMY carpet to be nothing more than a meeting of the fairies for a party celebration. Perhaps its a combination of both. But one thing we can be sure of is that age is indeed, just a number.  More and more women of a certain age prove to the newbies that you must write your own story on the carpet. So go ahead and be unique, flattering, gorgeous, explore a side of you for the moment and enjoy it! Gowns were both ingenue and sophisticated, fitted and flared or simply draped to perfection with light skirts, sheer layers and spangles.  There were ballerinas, glamazons, fairies, and bombshells across the carpet as well as looks that were tailored to perfection.  Everyone was thrilled to kick-off the Red Carpet Season, in Hollywood so let the battle commence.
